The town of Braintree is seeking an experienced Veterans Services Agent to provide assistance and advice to veterans and their dependents regarding finances, medical benefits, housing, employment and education, and other services as needed in the town of Braintree. Works under the general direction of the Human Resources Director and in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 115 and the Rules and Regulations of the United States Veterans Administration. Associate’s degree in social services or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred; three years of experience in social services or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Veteran status required, as defined by Massachusetts General Laws. Must possess a valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license and reliable motor vehicle.
