The town of Concord is seeking a dynamic, passionate and innovate self-starter to serve as our very first Visitor and Tourism Manager. As an integral part of the town’s outreach team, the Manager will help to design, promote and initiate new programs and strategies which work to increase visitor and business traffic in Concord and West Concord. As the lead for the town’s tourism division, the Manager will work to build collaborative relationships with community leaders, business owners and other stakeholders. Candidates should be personable, creative, accountable and collaborative professionals who are community oriented. Under the guidance and direction of the Deputy Town Manager, and in conjunction with the town’s Recreation Division, the Visitor and Tourism Manager will be responsible for promoting Concord and the Concord Area to all potential domestic and international visitors; to generate interest and excitement in and among current and potential local business owners and to generate revenues through visitor activities which will be used to enhance tourist services in town.
