The town of Lexington seeks a creative, customer-focused, and highly organized self-starter to serve as the Lexington Visitors Center Manager. This is a full-time position that is an integral part of the town’s Economic Development team. The Visitors Center Manager will help generate new ideas and initiate strategies to increase visitors, sales, and promote local business activity. In addition, the Manager will lead the Center’s operations through a transitional year in a temporary space as the town constructs a new Visitors Center Building which will open in April 2020. This position will supervise the part-time staff of the programs and services located in the Visitors Center building including the gift store, the Liberty Ride Tour and the Battle Green Guide Program as well as year round custom-guided tours. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail operations/management, hospitality or a related field as well as a minimum of three years of management experience in a service-oriented business or public sector organization, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Anticipated hiring range $61,968 -$67,659.
