The town of Groveland is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water & Sewer Operator/Technician. This 40 hour/week position performs skilled work in the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of the town’s Water & Sewer systems
High school diploma or equivalent; one – two years of performing field maintenance work on water distribution and treatment systems; experience with sewer lift stations and collection systems; experience or training in both construction and inspection of water and sewer systems; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position requires a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a minimum (OIT) Grade One (1) Water Distribution Certification, and a minimum (OIT) Grade One (1) Water Treatment Certification. Preference given for the following: Hoisting License, Cross Connection Tester Certification, and Waste Water Collections System Certification.
Salary range: $23.69/hr – $29.09/hr; with guaranteed overtime and added compensation offered for additional certifications. Benefit eligible. Member of the Teamsters Union Local 170.
