The town of Webster is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Water Superintendent to supervise, lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Department, and to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines. This position will work with the Board of Water Sewer Commissioners and a six-person staff to conduct all aspects of the operation of a Grade III Distribution / Grade II Treatment system. The applicant shall have a minimum of seven years of progressive responsibility in a similar-sized classified water utility with a minimum of three years of upper management supervisory experience. The applicant shall have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education, training or experience is required in addition to holding a current Massachusetts Grade III Distribution and Grade II Treatment Operators licenses, or be able to obtain within one year of hire. The annual compensation range for this salaried position is $95,000 – $105,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
