Highly responsible, hands on, position involving the management, maintenance, operation and construction of the town of Raymond municipal water system under the direction of the Director of Public Works. The scope of responsibilities includes supervision of personnel, budget control, compliance with all regulatory operational criteria, sampling and reporting, functionality of SCADA system, assets management, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, defining maintenance projects and procuring the services to address issues.
Position also requires participation in other Public Works Department activities such as winter maintenance.
Raymond Water System Statistics: 7.6M gallons monthly, 1200 customers, 90% residential, 1 Water Treatment Plant (green sand filter), 1 booster pump station, 3 water storage tanks, 16 miles of distribution pipe, 3 gravel packed wells and 1 bedrock well.
Requires Associates Degree, License for NH Water Treatment Level II, NH Water Distribution Level II and NH Backflow Certification, CDL Driver’s License, Construction layout and equipment operation experience and minimum of three years of related supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field is highly desired.
Position may be subject to drug and alcohol testing.
Compensation subject to qualifications and experience. Pay Range $55,000 to $69,000 plus benefits.
