The town of Falmouth Public Works department seeks a Water Superintendent to manage the water supply/treatment system. The department has approximately 21,000 water accounts, 400 miles of main and pumps 1.5B gallons of water annually. Successful candidate will prepare and administer operating and capital budgets of division; develop and implement annual capital program, five year and 20 year capital investment plans; oversee daily operations of division by directing work activities of approx. 20 employees; resolve personnel issues, ensure regulatory compliance; prepare bid specifications. Bachelor’s degree, five years experience as water or utilities manager, knowledge of a distribution level 4 water supply and treatment level 4 system and a Mass. Drinking Water Facilities Licenses T-4 and D-4 Operator in Training License preferred, valid Mass. Drivers’ license, excellent communications and business management skills are required. Salary range is $1,632 – $2129 /wk DOQ.
