The Acton Water District is seeking an organized, energetic, self-motivated individual with strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills to be part of our team. Under the general supervision of the Foreman, the Operator will assist in the operation of the distribution/storage system, four water treatment plants, and multiple pumping stations. The position requires a minimum of D2 and T2 water operator licenses with preference given to candidates with a T3 water treatment operator license. Backflow testing and level 2A hoisting licenses desirable. This is a full-time position, requiring some overtime and emergency response, with the expectation to go on scheduled rotating call after a probationary period. Excellent benefits and hourly rate ranging from $28/hr to $37/hr, dependent on licensure.
