The city of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the position of Inspector of Wires. This position works under the building commissioner, organizes and performs inspections, including electrical work performed throughout the city. Collaborates with multiple departments on issuance of certificates of occupancy for periodic safety inspections. Reviews applications and issues permits for electrical, fire detection and notification, CO/Smoke and low voltage.
