At the MMA’s Annual Business Meeting, members will consider timely resolutions on key municipal issues.

Each resolution is drafted by an MMA policy committee during the fall and approved by the MMA Board of Directors in November.

Once the resolutions are approved by the MMA Board, the policy committees that drafted them will welcome member comments through Dec. 27 so that committee members will be able to review any input before the Annual Business Meeting. Municipal officials may submit any comments to the MMA’s Legislative Division at 1 Winthrop Square, Boston, MA 02110 or achampion@mma.org.

• Proposed Resolution Supporting a Local-State-Federal Partnership to Address the Commonwealth’s Transportation System Needs and Challenges (2020)

• Proposed Resolution Supporting an Enduring Fiscal Partnership Between Cities and Towns and the Commonwealth in Fiscal 2021 and Beyond (2020)

Proposed update of the association’s standing policies in the area of transportation. The policy amendment is proposed by the MMA Policy Committee on Public Works, Transportation and Public Utilities.
