The MMA-Suffolk University Certificate in Local Government Leadership and Management program will hold two information sessions in mid-March for interested students to learn more about the program.
The program will be offered in Littleton and Barnstable in the 2019-2020 academic year. These will be the 13th and 14th sessions of the certificate program, which started in Natick in 2011. The Littleton offering will be the first one held in the north-central region of the state, while three sessions have been held in Barnstable previously.
The MMA-Suffolk certificate program is designed exclusively for municipal employees interested in furthering their careers in local government. Classes are held over the course of 25 Fridays throughout the academic year. Course topics include budgeting and financial management, challenges in human resources management, and strategic leadership.
The program application is due April 30. Tuition is $2,500.
