The Solid Waste Association of North America will hold its annual SWANApalooza conference for solid waste management professionals, including municipal waste and recycling officials, in Boston from Feb. 25 through 28.

The theme for SWANApalooza’s New England debut is “Building the Future.” The conference will explore the future of solid waste management through the lens of public sector entities, private companies and consultants in the area.

Government officials and top professionals from a range of industry areas will explain opportunities for domestic recycling, marine litter initiatives, landfill technical operations, and safety best practices with experts.

Programs offered at the conference will include courses on composting programs and organics collection, integrated solid waste management systems, and zero waste principles and practices.

All-access conference passes purchased through Dec. 14 are $850 or $1,050 for members and nonmembers, respectively.

Passes purchased after Dec. 14 cost $950 or $1,150, and on-site registration is $1,100 or $1,350.
