Why I Serve

Why is it that you do the work you do in local government? What motivates you?

At the Annual Meeting, we’re asking local leaders to reflect on and share why they serve in local government.

Please stop by the Why I Serve area, across the aisle from member registration in the Hynes (2nd floor). On a white board, jot down a few words that come to mind when you think about why you’ve chosen to serve in local government.

Then have your photo taken (or take a selfie) to share your message with your fellow attendees and the MMA’s followers on social media using the hashtags #WhyIServe and #MassMuni23.
