Town of Tyngsborough seeks qualified applicants for the 40 hrs./wk. position of Executive Assistant to Town Manager/Select Board (SB). This position is appointed by the Town Manager and will provide administrative/technical/executive secretarial support
for the Town Manager and Select Board. The Assistant will process new and existing licenses and permits for the SB, be responsible for compiling information packets/agendas for SB meetings and for organizing and producing the Annual Town Report. Other job functions include: compiling documents, maintaining filing systems, requires access to town-wide confidential information. Preferred Qualifications: Five to eight years of office experience in an executive office preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. A degree in political science, public administration, business administration, or a related field may substitute one year of experience with an associate’s degree and two years of experience with a bachelor’s degree. Anticipated wage range $27.50-$31.50/hr. based on experience. Priority will be given to applicants who submit a letter of interest and resume to [email protected] by April 13.
