The Massachusetts Highway Association has more than 650 members, including highway officials, directors, engineers and superintendents who are involved in all phases of highway-related activities. The MHA encompasses seven regional highway associations: Barnstable, Berkshire, Essex, Norfolk/Bristol/Middlesex, Plymouth, TriCounty and Worcester.

The MHA provides education, training and networking opportunities to its members, and tracks and testifies on legislative issues that could affect the industry. Through an agreement with the MHA, the MMA lobbies on highway-related legislation that would support the interests of cities and towns.
