The town of Braintree is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Director of Human Resources to support the full scope of HR operations. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management (FMLA, ADA), and offboarding. The Assistant Director supervises the HR Benefits Coordinator and Support Specialist, ensuring consistency in policy application and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, with four years of human resources experience; or associate’s degree in human resources management, with six years of human resources experience.; municipal experience and knowledge of labor relations are highly preferred. Certification with the Society of Human Resources Management is highly desirable.
