The Department of Land Use, Housing and Development is seeking qualified applicants for the Per Diem position of Plumbing & Gas Inspector. Operating under the general supervision of the Building Commissioner, this role performs a variety of routine and complex technical work related to building inspections. The Inspector ensures full compliance with all plumbing, gas, and related building laws, standards, and regulations to safeguard public safety. Anticipated starting rate: $39.11 – $44.64 per hour full range up to $54.65.
