Health Director/Health Agent

The Health Director/Health Agent is the department head for the city of Woburn Health department, responsible for protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of the community (including those who live, work and visit) through the analysis and interpretation of public health data, oversite of communicable disease surveillance and investigation, assessment of community health needs, development and implementation of public health programs, creation of public health regulations, and enforcement of federal, state and local public health laws. Develops and implements programs of the Board of Health, supervising the staff and facilitating the daily activity of the Board; and all other related work, as required.

Hours: 32.5 hours a week Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. After hours as needed.

Salary: $112,591.47 to $138,473.31 based on experience.
