The town of Truro is accepting applications for one full-time and one part-time Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST). PSTs receive emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch police and fire personnel, provide emergency medical instructions, and perform other duties. Certifications in enhanced 911, CJIS, APCO Basic Telecommunicator, EMD-APCO, CPR/First Responder are preferred, but will train.
The starting hourly rate for both positions is $31.43 per hour. For the full-time position, the hourly rate does not include overtime, educational incentive, holiday pay, EMD stipend, and shift differential. Please send a cover letter and résumé via email to [email protected].
