Job Description

The town of Orleans is now recruiting for an Environmental Project Coordinator. In this newly created position, responsibilities include: plans, analyzes, evaluates, and implements actions and programs to protect or restore natural systems to ensure sustainability and compliance with regulations. This position is also responsible for water quality management including wastewater planning, investigation of pollution sources, coastal resilience planning, develop management plans and policies to protect ecosystems.

Salary Range: $103,184-$142,241

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, coastal systems, planning or related field of study and minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in environmental management or any equivalent combination of education and experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience. Massachusetts driver’s license.
