New Hampton, NH (2,200 pop.) seeks collaborative and forward-thinking professional to serve as its next Town Administrator. Located in the beautiful Lakes Region of central NH, New Hampton is a quintessential New England community just minutes from Lakes Winnipesaukee, Winnisquam, and Newfound with their abundant year-round recreational opportunities. Conveniently located off I-93, New Hampton is just 30 minutes south of Franconia Notch and the scenic White Mountains; 35 minutes north of the State Capital, Concord; and two hours north of Boston.

With an SB2 form of government led by a three-member Select Board, the Town Administrator oversees an operating budget of $4.1M with 19 FTE’s. Responsible for the effective administration of municipal operations to support the Select Board in achieving the Town’s goals.

Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field, five-plus years progressively responsible experience in municipal government, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. EOE.

Salary range to $120,000; starting salary commensurate with qualifications. Excellent benefits.
