Come join our dynamic team! The city of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Floating Custodian. The purpose of this position is to be responsible for washing, wiping, dusting, sweeping, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and other duties. Maintains assigned areas of interiors or exteriors, office spaces, common areas, and grounds in a clean, orderly and habitable condition. Must assist with keeping walkways free of ice and snow in the winter months. The work locations will vary around the city. Over time will be required on a mandatory and as needed basis. Performs other duties as requested. This position is for the period Monday through Friday, 6 am – 2 pm.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position, hiring salary range: $52,188 – $70,134 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
