Martha’s Vineyard Refuse District is accepting applications for the position of District Manager. The District Manger will be responsible overseeing all aspects of the Refuse District solid waste management and recycling programs, including day-to-day operations, long term planning, budget development, personal, legal and financial management, direction of subcontractors, and liaison with municipal and regulatory agencies. The District Manager must possess a thorough knowledge of the principals and practices of the solid waste management, including recycling, refuse collection, processing and disposal.
