CNU New England to hold annual summit and awards Oct. 2-3

U.S. Rep. Jake Auchincloss will be the featured guest at CNU New England’s Annual Summit and Awards: The New Localism, a two-day urbanism conference featuring panels and interactive design sessions.

The summit will be held Oct. 2-3 at 10 World Trade Center in Boston’s Seaport District. Attendees may join for one or both days.

The summit is focused on the profound shift in power and problem-solving capacity that is moving away from the national government and toward local communities and metropolitan networks of public, private, and civic actors.

CNU New England organizes meaningful events that bring together a cross-disciplinary network of professionals and advocates who work together to build strong cities and towns.

CNU New England’s work is guided by the Charter for the New Urbanism. Its goal is to affect change through education and advocacy that reflect the principles and practices defined within it.
