On Wednesday, Oct. 16, Nichols College is holding a free seminar designed to provide municipal leaders with a better understanding of the cyberthreat risks facing their communities and with concrete steps to improve their cyber resilience.

“What Municipal Leaders Should Know to Build a Cyber Secure and Resilient Commonwealth” will discuss the motivations and techniques of cyberthreat operators (nation states, terrorist groups and criminal gangs), with a goal of better understanding the risks facing municipalities.

The seminar will end with a discussion of concrete steps for leaders to take to improve cyber resiliency for their community.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Daniels Auditorium at Nichols College in Dudley.
