ADMINISTRATIVE ASSESSOR
The part-time position (15+/- hrs/wk) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the office and interaction with the public relative to the function of assessing and billing various types of property within the town. Duties include the processing of maintaining ownership records, tracking building permits and the status of construction, inputting property data changes, and preparing a variety of reports to submit to the state. Requires attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to be diplomatic under circumstances that can be – at times – challenging.
Required Minimum Qualifications are a high school diploma or GED and three years of related
experience, or any combination of education, training, and experience. Preference will be given to those serving in a front-facing customer service position and/or a municipality.
Compensation & Benefits: Starting Pay will range from $21.98 to $24.88 DOQ/DOE.
