The town of Reading is looking for an Administrative Services Director to serve as the Department Head for Administrative Services, which includes the following Divisions: Town Manager’s Office; Human Resources; Operations; and Town Clerk/Elections. This position also fills the role of Constituent Services Officer defined by the Reading Home Rule Charter. This position reports directly to the Town Manager. This is a full-time, Non-Union, Exempt, 40 hours per week and benefits eligible.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in public administration, law, political science, human resources, business management or closely related field;
2. Seven years of related experience;
3. Any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience, with additional work experience substituting for the required education on a year for year basis.
Expected FY27 Hiring Range: $115,294.40 – $147,596.80
