The town of Spencer is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Animal Control Officer. Reporting directly to the Chief of Police or designee, this position is responsible for enforcement of state and local laws and bylaws regarding animal control in the Town of Spencer.
This position requires agility and physical strength and may be required to work in inclement conditions and beyond normal work hours in response to emergency situations on a 24×7, 365 days/year basis. The position receives support from a staff of alternate animal control officers.
This full-time (40 hours/week), position offers a starting bi-weekly salary of $1,670.15, plus benefits.
