The dynamic and progressive city of Salem seeks an Assistant City Clerk for Elections. Assists, oversees, and manages the Elections and Registration Office. Position is responsible for implementing all elections by following city, state and federal laws. Maintains accurate voter database by registering new voters and other functions. Conducts annual city resident census. Implements processes for absentee and vote by mail applications, in-person early voting, election recounts, and campaign finance reports. Certifies nomination papers and petitions, recruits, schedules, and trains poll workers. Ability to speak Spanish and election experience preferred.
