Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The MMA is a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit association of cities and towns dedicated to improving the effectiveness of local government in the Commonwealth. The MMA brings municipal officials together to articulate a clear and united municipal message, to develop and advocate for unified policies, and to share information and work together to improve municipal service delivery.
Massachusetts cities and towns deliver essential services to every citizen every single day. The MMA provides a wide range of services to member municipalities and the local officials who lead them.
