The town of Northborough seeks qualified applicants for the full-time position of Assistant MIS/GIS Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to day-to-day operation of town computer systems, the support of end-users, help desk functions and end-user training. Maintains access to the network resources and undertakes software updates and corrections.
Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and three years of job–related experience; preferably in a municipal setting; or any equivalent combination. Requires thorough knowledge of contemporary information technology and business systems. Must possess valid Class D Motor Vehicle License. Ideal candidate will have effective customer service and communication skills to address employees, vendors, and public officials.

Strong task prioritization and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
