The town of Scituate seeks qualified applicants for the position of Council on Aging Director
Responsible for the day to day operation of the town of Scituate’s Council on Aging/Senior Center including coordinating programs and activities for the town’s senior population. The Director supervises assigned staff and activities including Outreach/Case Management, Transportation, Food Service and the coordination of volunteers and activities. Prepares and administers operating budgets and reports.
Bachelor’s degree in human services, geriatrics, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible management experience in social service required; working with an elderly population preferred.
