The town of Scituate seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of Assessing
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Assessor’s Office, including supervision of assigned staff, valuing property and taxable personal property, and managing the abatement and appeal processes. Also prepares tax and growth revenue projections working with other members of the town’s financial team, and performs other associated tasks.
Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in tax administration in assessing or a related field. Accredited by Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officials preferred.
