Director of Election Commission

Position Summary:

To provide accurate, courteous and timely election services to the voters of the city of Everett. The Registrar of Voters is responsible for maintaining procedures relating to the registration of voters, developing and maintaining annual list of voters, and conducting the annual census of residents of the city. The Registrar processes and ensures accuracy and proper certification of all nomination papers and petitions. In addition, this includes processing absentee voter applications, administering election recounts and holding hearings.
