Woburn Public Schools is currently seeking a Director of Facilities to support the academic mission of the school system.

The Director will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy learning and teaching environment for all users, including supervising maintenance and administrative staff, as well as outside contractors, and working with principals to supervise custodians.

Education and experience: bachelor’s degree in business or facilities management, master’s degree preferred. Minimum of seven years of related professional experience with a minimum of five years of supervising numerous employees at different locations and shifts.

Certificates and licenses: Massachusetts construction supervisor’s license (or other building trade license) is desirable. Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) is required or must be obtained within one year. Designated person certificate for (AHERA) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act. OSHA 30 training desirable.
