Director of Housing Management

Job Description

The Norwood Housing Authority is seeking an energetic and dependable candidate to assume the newly created role of Director of Housing Management. The Director of Housing Management is a senior management position responsible for assisting the Executive Director in the overall leadership, administration, and management of the Housing Authority’s programs, personnel, and operations. The incumbent oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Provides technical assistance on all housing rules and regulation. Develops and implements strategic initiatives, and direct supervision to administrative staff. This role acts for the Executive Director in his/her absence and represents the Authority to external stakeholders, including residents, community organizations, government agencies, and the public as needed.

The newly created position is intended to address the anticipated management gap resulting from our Deputy Director’s upcoming medical leave and eventual retirement. This role will provide essential leadership continuity, support day-to-day operations, and ensure the Norwood Housing Authority maintains effective oversight and management during this transition.
