This full-time, benefited supervisory position is responsible for administrative and manual work needed to run the daily operation and management of the Vehicle Maintenance division. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma and technical training; five to seven years of vehicle maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must have hands-on experience dealing with the repair and maintenance of automotive apparatus and heavy and motorized equipment, possess dedication to providing optimum customer service and solving departmental needs; as well as excellent verbal communication and time management skills. The candidate must have a valid Massachusetts Class B CDL driver’s license with air brake endorsement, Massachusetts Hoist Engineers License Class 2A, 4E & 4G. Also, A/B Operator Certification for fuel systems, or ability to obtain this certification within one year of hire. Candidate must also be available for paid overtime work during snow and ice operations and other emergency situations.
Starting pay is $79,532- $95,442 DOQ with opportunity to earn overtime.
