The city of Cambridge Department of Public Works is seeking a highly motivated Engineer to manage construction associated with public works capital improvement projects. Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and three years’ experience in utility construction or wastewater operations. Professional registration or EIT (Engineer in Training) Certificate preferred. Ability to manage and administer public works construction contracts. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to accessibility, sewer use and stormwater management. Massachusetts Class D License required. Knowledge of complete streets designs, emphasizing superior accommodation for bicyclists and pedestrians. $77,969 – $91,111/annually plus excellent benefits.
