The Town of Bourne, an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, has an opening for full-time Facilities Director. We are seeking reliable and responsible candidate who will be responsible for management and administrative work in directing the operations and maintenance of all municipal facilities in order to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for the staff and the public. The Director establishes long and short-range plans and objectives, supervises, staff, implements policies, drafts budgets, resolves conflicts and coordinates with others.
Qualifications and Education A Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred, or equivalent job experience. Over ten years’ experience in facilities management (at least 3 of which shall be supervisory experience) is required. A Certified Facility Administrator (CFA) and Mass. Certified Public Purchasing Officer (MCPPO) are desirable.
Salary Starting range: $99,645 to $115,635. Full time position (37.5 hours/week.) This is a benefited position with dental, health, PTO and retirement.
