The Fire Chief is responsible for administrative and supervisory work in directing all functions and operations of a Career Full-time 24-hour Fire Department. Minimum qualifications: associate degree in fire science or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred. NFPA training and 10 years of increasing experience in fire services, including five years in a responsible command position. Position works 40 hours per week. The Fire Chief must live within 10 miles of Rowley. FY 26 salary range: $112,501 to $128,892.
