The town of Millville (population 3,200) seeks candidates for Fire Chief.
This strong chief position provides technical, administrative, and supervisory work in planning, organizing, directing and implementing fire prevention, suppression and emergency medical services to prevent or minimize the loss of life and property by fire and emergency medical conditions; work is performed in accordance with municipal and state laws; and all other related work as required,

Bachelor’s degree in fire science, business administration, public administration or a related field; minimum of ten years of experience in a public safety department with at least five years of experience in a command capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. EMT Certification, First Responder Certification, HazMat Command/Operational Level certification, and valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license required. Compensation depending on qualifications and experience. This is a part-time, as needed, non- benefited position with no set hours. EEO.
