Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Highway Department Clerk: This is a part-time, non-benefited, approximately 10 hours a week position. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: answering phones, responding to resident inquiries, billing, payroll, tracking and reconciling MassDOT Chapter 90 Funds and the preparation of submittals to MassDOT District 2, grants, and maintaining records. Qualifications: A high school graduate or equivalent plus one years of experience in or general knowledge of administrative functions including Microsoft Office. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background/CORI check. Salary: $19-$21 per hour.
