Human Resources Director

Job Description

The town of South Hadley is seeking a highly qualified and passionate individual for the position of Human Resources Director. This position is responsible for performing complex professional, administrative, technical, and supervisory work in planning, coordinating, organizing, developing, and implementing the human resources, benefit, and compensation functions for all town and school departments.

Position Details:

• Bachelor’s in human resources, public administration, or related, and three to five years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of applicable federal and Massachusetts laws, regulations, and best practices relating to human resources and public-sector personnel administration; Municipal experience preferred.
• This is an FLSA exempt, non-union, benefited position, generally 40 hours per week during regular business hours, M-F; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position is classified as a Grade 6 position with an anticipated hiring range of $76,000 to $93,000 depending on qualifications.
