Job Description

The town of Boxborough seeks an energetic and creative Information Services Librarian for Sargent Memorial Library. This benefited, 30-hour/week position supports adult programming, reference services, community outreach, and digital content creation. Working under the Library Director, the Librarian develops engaging programs, manages volunteers, creates marketing materials, and delivers exceptional patron service. A master’s in library and information science (ALA-accredited) is required; public library experience preferred. Strong communication skills, cultural awareness, creativity, and comfort with social media and digital tools are essential. Salary range: $29.68–$40.91/hour. Includes evening and Saturday shifts.
