The town of Groveland is seeking a part-time Interim Fire Chief to serve as the temporary administrative and operational leader of the Fire Department during a vacancy or transition in leadership. This position is intended to maintain continuity of operations, ensure public safety, provide administrative oversight, and supervise department personnel until a permanent Fire Chief is appointed.
This is a temporary, part-time, at-will position. The Interim Fire Chief is expected to perform essential administrative and supervisory duties while working a flexible schedule based on departmental needs. The position does not constitute full-time employment and is not intended to replace the responsibilities of a permanent Fire Chief.
