Job Description

The Sawyer Free Library is accepting applications for a full-time Librarian. 35 hours per week. This position is perfect for someone who believes library services are essential to a strong community and is passionate about going above and beyond to help adults meet their information needs.

Primary duties of the Librarian include:

•  Delivering information and reader’s advisory services
• Instructing the public in the use of technology and online resources
• Overseeing management of a section of the collection
• Planning programs in partnership with community stakeholders
• Creating content for websites and social media

Ability and enthusiasm for adapting to new technologies and services are a must.

Pay Range: $32.78 – $47.47 per hour
