The town of Amherst seeks a Mechanic for the Wastewater division to perform the proper and safe maintenance and repair of all wastewater division equipment throughout the wastewater treatment plant and collection system.  This position operates light and heavy equipment as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent PLUS three years of experience related to construction, maintenance, or repair OR any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
