Job Description

The town of Falmouth seeks a highly motivated professional to serve as our next Community Preservation Committee (CPC) Fund Administrator. This is a part-time, benefit-eligible position that works 25 hours per week, with some schedule flexibility.

The CPC Fund Administrator provides staff support to the town’s nine-member Community Preservation Committee and serves as the primary administrator of the town’s Community Preservation Fund. The position ensures that public funds are awarded, monitored, and managed in accordance with applicable laws, Town Meeting authorizations, and grant agreements.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, planning, community development, finance, or a related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in planning, community development, grant administration, or fund administration, preferably in a municipal or public-sector setting; or any equivalent combination of education, training, or experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Expected Starting Range: Step 1 ($33.98/hour) to Step 5 ($39.75/hour), commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is part of a seven-step salary schedule with eligibility for annual step advancement.
