The town of Bourne, an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, has an opening for a full-time Pesticide Applicator at the Department of Public Works. We are seeking reliable and responsible individuals to perform a variety of physical tasks, pesticide application and support the daily operations of the DPW. Work includes loading and unloading trucks, patching roadways, landscaping grounds, applying pesticides, removing trash and recyclables, and assisting in the overall maintenance and repair of town streets, roadways, and grounds.

Qualifications and education:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of construction, horticulture or landscaping experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license ad a valid Massachusetts pesticide applicators license.

Full/part-time and hours:

This is a full-time, 37 hours per week position. Hours will be Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Friday 7 a.m.-12 p.m. Starting at $23.12/hour.
