CITY OF WORCESTER

The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Plumbing and Gasfitting Inspector for the Building and Zoning division within the Inspectional Services Department. Under the direction of the Chief Plumbing and Gas Inspector, the position will be responsible for inspecting new and old plumbing installations. The Plumbing and Gasfitting Inspector will enforce conformity with municipal ordinances, state laws and accepted practices relating to the installation, maintenance, alteration, repair and removal of such installations. The individual will exercise independent judgment and make decisions requiring considerable technical discretion.

SALARY RANGE: $32.26 – $42.18 hourly, full-time, with an excellent benefits package.
